Behaviour Counselling

This consultation can deal with any problems that you may be experiencing with your puppy, adult dog or rescue dog. I offer behaviour consultations where, in your home we discuss you and your four legged friend and cover everything from diet & exercise to where the dog sleeps and what you do each day. During this time I will also observe your dogs behaviour in its own environment. These consultations usually take 1-2 hours.

I can then advise you as to why your dog may be behaving in such a way and how to implement changes to overcome it using positive, reward techniques that will help you to communicate and build a bond with your dog.

I will provide information sheets and a helpful report on what you can be doing to resolve the behaviour, as well as giving you demonstrations of dog training techniques that you can apply to your everyday lives. 

I will be available after the consultation for any further questions that you may have and want to leave you positive and optimistic. There are very few "quick fixes" to certain problem behaviours however, I can equip you with the information and understanding to help you break the habit/behaviour that your dog is displaying by teaching the dog to do something else instead.

Please note that some behaviours may require a follow-up session due to the severity of the problem itself. You are not under any obligation to have a follow-up session but these can be critical to the rehabillitation process.  

These sessions cost £65.00 (including clicker, factsheets and recommendations report)

Follow-up sessions cost £30.00

One-to-One Training Sessions

These sessions are tailor made to suit your individual needs and cover basic obedience such as jumping up, lead walking, coming when called (recall), sit, down, stay, take it/leave it and puppy socialisation plans to name a few examples.

These sessions are for one hour a week and are usually completed over a 4-6 week period, however you can have just one session if you want to. I come to you and together we train your dog in your own home and garden and then progress to outside where there are many distractions. This is great fun and suits puppies and older dogs (including rescue dogs).

I will supply you with training factsheets, clicker and provide homework exercise sheets for you to practice with your dog.

These sessions cost £25.00 (including clicker, factsheets & homework sheets) - travel costs may apply to some areas. Payment in advance is required.

*If you book four sessions of one-to-one training - pay just £90.00

For both sessions, any extra equipment needed will cost extra if required   - e.g Flat Collars, Leads, Harnesses, Kongs, Stimulation Toys and are to be paid for up front in the first session.
